A New Calendar

God puts a difference between his elect and the non-elect. The children of Israel (a type of the elect of God) were given a new calendar to live by in Exodus 12. They had a civil calendar but now they were to live by a religious or spiritual calendar. This new calendar was marked by the Pascal Lamb. Today we have a spiritual calendar to live by. It is marked by our Passover Lamb, Christ. In this calendar, we should make time for church, prayer and the reading of God’s word!
