These are just a few of the many songs that the Primitive Baptist sing. Not only are they beautiful to the ear, but they resonate with the Spirit of God within us. A child of God singing these songs and meditating on the words can’t help but to give praise, honor and glory to our Savior. “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.”
Col. 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
The New Testament Church is not instructed to use musical instruments, they are instructed to sing, “singing and making melody in your HEART to the Lord”. Can there be a better way for the church to lift up praise to Christ? Let us sing praises to our Lord and Savior and let us lift up our voices unto him. For He is worthy!
