Ruth and Redemption

The book of Ruth gives us a glimpse at the wonderful doctrine of redemption. Boaz would redeem Ruth instead of the nearer kinsman. Christ is our Boaz! He is our near kinsman, he is able, willing, and he finished the work of redemption on the Cross at Calvary! Christ paid the price full and complete. We have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins. He sought us and bought us with his redeeming love. Praise God, what a wonderful doctrine!
