Regeneration and Conversion are two wonderful doctrines that are often confused as being synonymous. But the bible is clear that they are distinctly different. Regeneration is antecedent to Conversion. Only a child of God who is already born again can have the desire and ability to convert. Regeneration is one time, it is passive upon man and sure. Conversion is needed many times in our lives, requires labor for the child of God and can be lost.
