Laodicea, The Spirit of Pride – Solomon had wise council, “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” The Church at Laodicea was steeped in pride. Worldly success can hinder us from serving the Lord in humility. This letter to Laodicea not only serves as a warning to them of that time but to us should pride be our motivator. This is a very timely message for today.
