Wells were not an option in biblical times. The areas were dry and little drinkable surface water could be found. Having a well of water was essential. Wells sustained life and brought prosperity and abundance. In like manner we should remain close to the wells of salvation. Drinking from these wells will sustain our spiritual life and more, it will give abundant life!
