A clear contrast can be seen between the lust of the flesh and the goodness of God within us. Many crossroads lay in our path while we walk this life. Could there be anything greater than having knowledge through God’s word of his precious promises and our duty as a member of His church? The answer is no. We have a choice daily and James makes that choice clear. Are we going to allow our carnal lusts to bring forth sin or are we going to allow the word of truth to shape and mould our lives in godly living?
