In Jonah ch.1, God commanded the prophet Jonah to "Arise and Go". Jonah did arise and go but he went the other way. Jonah was out of the will of God and he tried to flee from the presence of God. God is omniscient, he is everywhere present and nowhere absent. He had the wrong attitude and had lost his witness. Jonah would pay the price for his disobedience by the chastening hand of God who had prepared a great fish for him.
