Ephesus, The Spirit of religion – This church was commended for many good things they were doing. A church can maintain sound practice and still be in jeopardy with the Lord. While it is needful for a church to exercise discipline the Lord reminds them that they have left what was most important, their first love! A church that leaves the cross for any reason is a church in danger of losing the light.
