The doctrine of election is one of the most beautiful doctrines found in God’s word. There are many who are persistent that man must do something to obtain immortal glory, but a careful biblical view of mans total depravity will leave him helpless in himself and dependent upon a merciful and gracious God. God’s word is clear that He has done it all! He elected us before the foundation of the world. Christ’s death was not in vain for you, he paid the price full and complete! We can find a rest in this precious doctrine. He elected me, and he elected you! Praise be the name of the Lord our Saviour throughout all generations.
