The first three feasts are a shadow of what Christ has done; the last three are a great type of the promise of what Christ will do. He is coming back! Christ’s body was sacrificed at Calvary, the work was finished, the payment made. But we are not glorified yet and the promise of his return at the resurrection is sure. It is now, in the gospel age (the feast of weeks) that we with patience wait for His glorious return.
