To what purpose did Christ come into the world? In Hebrews chapter two the Apostle Paul is clear on this thought. Christ came to be our: substitution, captain, sanctifier, conqueror and reconciler. These descriptions of what Christ accomplished on the cross declare that he is the Sovereign Savior.
