Paul was concerned about God’s people among the Israelites and as a result from their falling away gives us, the Gentiles, a heed lest we should fall from the same blessings that was once among the Jews. The Jews had been warned that the Gospel would be taken from them and given to the Gentiles. But let us not boast, rather rejoice, lest those same blessings are taken away from us.
